Aqua Natura Madeira

Built adjacent to Madeira's largest natural volcanic swimming pool system—the Aqua Natura reserve in Porto Moniz—this venue integrates natural thermal and saltwater bathing facilities into the event experience, with guest circulation directly connecting celebration spaces to public aquatic amenities. The 50–150-person capacity utilises a contemporary pavilion positioned between terrestrial event space and the volcanic pool complex, creating a hybrid terrestrial-aquatic venue environment. The design narrative prioritises water engagement; ceremonies conducted here incorporate the sensory experience of natural pools as functional landscape amenity rather than visual backdrop.
