Ibiza
Pick a venue first. Photographers, planners, florists slot around it. We do the shortlisting for you.
Ibiza is a island island where the daytime smells like pine and herbs, where small whitewashed villages still function as villages (not just photo ops), and where the nightlife is so complete that it requires its own calendar system separate from normal time.
Weddings happen May and June or September and October; July and August are both scalding hot and completely overrun. The beaches are wide and sandy. The island is small enough to cross in 45 minutes. The sunset at Cala Conta is so photographed that people cry anyway. The restaurants are excellent and pricey. The nightlife is a fact of life. The interior villages (Ibiza Town, San Rafael) provide ceremony alternatives to beach clubs.
