Fortin translates as 'small fort'—a reference to medieval fortified farmhouses common to the region. This building is a genuine 15th-century defensive structure with metre-thick stone walls, narrow windows designed for arrow fire, and a crenellated roof line. Capacity: 50–150. The interior has been updated to modern safety standards while preserving the original stone fabric. The dining room occupies the former arms room; the kitchen sits in what was once the stable block. The setting dominates the experience—couples marry inside a building that has stood for 600 years.
