Mairi MacSween runs a design studio in Leith, Edinburgh, where she combines twenty-three years of experience in wedding stationery with her background as an artist. Her approach is to incorporate her own hand-painted or hand-drawn illustrations into stationery designs, working initially in pencil or watercolour before translating the artwork into digital designs for printing. This means each piece carries a quality of fine art rather than generic graphics—elegant, romantic, and individually composed. She offers two paths: her existing collections of original wedding stationery, which can be adapted by your choice of ribbon or envelope colour, or fully bespoke commissions where you describe your vision and she creates something built around memorable details. Semi-custom designs typically take two to three weeks from approval to completion.
