Centrepiece Cakes brings together two decades of attention to handmade sugar floristry (enough to prompt guests to ask whether the flowers are real) with exceptional sponge construction. The owner, formerly trading as Bakealous, rebranded and expanded as her children reached school age. Each tier stands seven inches tall—three layers of sponge, two layers of buttercream, finished in white chocolate ganache—portions sized for satisfaction rather than delicate scraps. Built to serve genuine numbers, every cake meets her food safety standards and carries public liability coverage. She works throughout Hertfordshire and the home counties, taking on orders where her craft will be valued as much as the final taste.
