Château du Perreux

A true château with fortified walls, a moat, and a drawbridge entrance dominates fifty acres of parkland. One hundred to two hundred fifty guests move through a sequence of stone-vaulted reception rooms, each with its own fireplace and period furnishings. The grounds feature formal gardens designed in the seventeenth-century French tradition, with hedged rooms and a central fountain. A separate orangerie building provides kitchen facilities, and guest cottages scattered across the estate offer private sleeping quarters.
