Le Renard

Le Renard—The Fox—is a restaurant housed in a converted 18th-century hunting lodge, complete with painted scenes of deer hunts on the dining room walls. Stone walls, wooden beams, and a large fireplace create rustic but intentional aesthetic. Capacity: 50–150. The kitchen specialises in game—venison, wild boar, pheasant—prepared in classical French technique. The wine list favours fuller-bodied reds that pair with game rather than light Champagnes. The building sits outside town, surrounded by beech forests that remain the region's primary hunting ground.
